Did you know that the oil you use in your engine plays a very important role in ensuring the proper functioning of your vehicle?

More than just oil, it lubricates the engine's internal components, reducing friction and excessive wear. It also maintains the engine's operating temperature at its best.

It is important to change the oil regularly, leaving it clean and removing any particles resulting from combustion.

Attention!!!

Never mix lubricating oils from different brands!

Mixing oils with very similar characteristics, but from different brands, may cause incompatibility, and neither oil will be able to lubricate the engine well, thus seriously compromising the vehicle, resulting in engine corrosion, sludge formation, loss of car efficiency and increased fuel consumption.

When should I change the engine oil?

If you use your car daily, always keep an eye on the oil level. Continuous use causes the vehicle to experience more sudden temperature changes as it spends more time in traffic, putting greater demands on the engine. In this case, it's recommended to change the oil every 5,000 to 7,000 kilometers, which is equivalent to roughly six months of use.

Main Signs for Oil Change!

1. Dirty oil

When engine oil begins to darken, possibly reaching black, it needs to be changed. When new, oil is light, honey-colored, which is the ideal color.

2. Mileage

Over time, dirty oil causes greater wear on the engine, thus reducing its lifespan.

Therefore, the more the mileage increases, the greater the likelihood that an oil change will be approaching.

3. Indicator light on the panel

Many cars, especially newer models, have this oil warning light option, which when lit indicates the need for an oil change.

Always perform preventive maintenance on your vehicle!
